That was one of the great one-liners in our sermon Sunday. Why, out of the 10 lepers that Jesus healed did only ONE of them turn around and go back and Thank Jesus? When Jesus told the lepers to go and report to the Priest why didn't the Priest tell them to "turn their little selves around" and go back and THANK Jesus for healing them? What are we taking for granted? Geesh, how proud do we have to get? Ok, I'm down off my soap box now.
Eric has a "thing" about being sick or not feeling quite right. He's always afraid that no matter what it is, something really bad is wrong with him. I told him last night that I thought because of what he'd been through maybe that's why he thought that way. We had a discussion tonight about not letting fear overtake him. Explain that one to a 10 year old! He got adjusted tonight and his should was out which would explain why his hand was a little tingly. He also has a case of the "what if's"?
Some intriguing and funny things he's said lately:
Mom, do rednecks go through the drive thru?
and
Mom, does your back hurt if you relapse?????? I don't know WHERE that one came from!
He keeps me on my toes.
Andrea turned 7 on Saturday. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! We called her and sang Happy Birthday. She understood a lot of what we said without it being translated so we know she's learning English. She said she was seek (sick). The translator said she had a fever and had an injection. Probably antibiotics. Poor Baby. She needs to come HOME! Things are actually looking good, KEEP PRAYING!!! Our Orphan VISA expires March 1st, 2007. It woud be fantabulous if we could get her home before that date.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are travelling to Iowa to spend time with Doug's family and I get to do Black Friday with my wonderful sister-in-law. Get ready Juil Ann!!!
