Monday we played at a family fun park and later went to a St Louis Cardinals Game.
We had some time to check out the Arc before the music festivities.
I asked this guy Blake what advice he would give to Eric about playing in a band and the industry. His answer? "Don't ever compromise your integrity. Glorify God in your music and all you do. Don't let the financial end of the music industry destroy your joy and love of playing music."
Sunday afternoon the Dorothy's went to "Scream the Prayer" a Christian Metal Festival. They did scream, Doug and I did wear our earplugs, and Eric was STOKED to get to hang with one of his favorite bands "A Plea for Purging." And anyone that judges these guys based on their appearance needs only to hang out with these guys. GREAT guys, college graduates reaching their generation for the Lord. We were soooo impressed!
Went to Union Station where you could jump on trampolines with bungee straps as high as the second level. We tried but couldn't talk Brad into it !
We met Brad, Juil and Brody in St Louis last weekend.
