Nascar, here we come!

Well, as you can tell Eric had a Nascar wish granting party. Oh what fun! He didn't have a clue either! One of Doug's customers has a high level position at JB Hunt and he asked us if we wanted to use him to get Eric there. It worked perfectly! We met him in the lobby, he walked us thru both buildings out to the east parking lot where there were a gazallion (it seemed like) people. They parted as we walked up and there was our friend and Eric's 1st grade teacher when he was diagnosed, Miss Cathy. (She is also a Make-a-Wish volunteer) She told him his wish to go to a Nascar race had been granted. He was having a tough time holding it in at that point, but was all smiles. He got to open lots of cool presents, including a digital camera and computer games and Star Wars stuff, and lots more. There was a huge cake and lots of his favorite snacks. But the most fun he had was in the Nascar Simulator! It was sooooo cool. 2 cars inside this semi with a surround big screen and you raced just like it was real. My, it was an overwhelming experience. We are soooo blessed and never anticipated anything this grand. I asked him later, what he thought when we went clear to the front of the line? He said "He (JB Hunt employee) must be really important, he must be the president or something!" Then I asked him did he suspect anything when Miss Cathy was there? He said "I just thought, oh, she's here" Too funny. He really had no clue. Anyway, if you are reading this and were a participant in anyway, THANK YOU! More pics later.
