Getting it right

Tonight I was folding clothes on the floor in the living room while Eric was practicing guitar. I was trying to "keep him moving" as he has a tendancy to get a bit distracted. He needed to finish his homework and take a bath yet, so I "prompted" him again. Then I thought about all those parents who have lost their children. So, I pulled him down on the floor with me and put my arms around him and just told him how much I loved him and how much God loves him and how he is "fearfully and wonderfully made" and many other things. And he just sat there and soaked it up like a sponge. I'm going to do that more often............... Have a great Wednesday!
