Memorial Day

It's not just the start of summer......or a nice, much needed 3 day weekend. Remember those that fought for our freedom, are fighting against terrorism and are called and meet the calling of defending our country. Did you fly your flag today? God Bless the USA, HE's still in control.
However, we did have a nice weekend as a family. We went to an Arkoma Relic Club treasure hunt at a campground (K-River) near Antlers, OK. A new kind of cultural experience. Good, honest people. Doug and Eric hunted, we won door and raffle prizes, floated in a river that when you got out you IMMEDIATELY wanted to take a shower and camped for the first time in my parents RV. The family time was great. Eric's allergies acted up again and again. He is such a trooper. He barely even flinches when I put drops in anymore. However, had to begin breathing treatments just as soon as we got home as his breathing was labored and he has the cough. So, right now, unfortunately Eric's time outside is limited. We got home Sunday evening and oh the shower and bed were nice! Today was spent catching up on laundry and housework and washing everything in the RV. We went to "Over the Hedge" this afternoon. Soooo cute! Then met my craving for Chinese food at Panda. Eric opened the window in the car on the way home........bad mistake, bad, bad mistake! His poor little eyes are red and swollen. So, another breathing treatment, drops, medicine and always handy with the wet washcloth. He fell asleep quickly tonight. Have I mentioned he's just the greatest kid in the world? We are SOOO blessed. Heard our Andrea may have to go to court in Romania this week to re-establish her abandoned status. We need her to remained abandoned so that when the government figures out that they can't care for the 80,000 plus orphans without International adoption we will be able to bring her home. Please continue to pray with us about tearing down the strongholds of communist mentality government. They are a proud nation. But proud in the wrong way.
I'm in the office Tue and Wed of this week and off on Thursday and Friday. YEAH!! Thursday is Eric's class party. We're going to "Pump it Up" in Bentonville Thur am and we're having a class LuAu (sp) complete with games and food in the afternoon. We're going to have fun fun fun. Eric's first class at NWACC is Thur afternoon. Friday is last day of school. PTL!! Then we start the summer schedule. Oh yes, and more good news. The guitar teacher got him in on Thursday afternoons this summer. We're looking forward to a fun summer.
Doug starts a new Director of Maintenance position on Thursday the 1st. We're speaking blessing over this new season of our lives. God is sooo good, ALL the time. That about catches us up. I'm posting weekend pictures...................Have a great week. Let God have that little thing that nibbles at your conscience. He can handle it better than you....................!
