Still in Remission

We had an anniversary on the 19th...........2 "official" years in remission Praise God! On Thursday we went to ACH for CBC (Complete Blood Count) C.T. scan and Echo of the heart. With the exception of having some trouble getting the IV started.........stuck him 3 times in his hands, lots of tears and even more blood, 3 wonderful nurses giving lots of attention, Eric is still doing wonderfully. They painted the C.T. machine so it looks like little ducks are swimming around in a circle, it's cute! It's cool to look at your kid's heart beating and blood flowing and just the wonder of God's creating it to keep us going, WOW, what a smart God we have! All in all we had a good but tiring day (left home at 6 returned at 6ish.)
We had Doug's dad and wife here for a visit. We took them putt putt golfing that night. It was a first for both of them and they took first and second. It was a good memory. We were sooooo glad for Friday and the weekend. Please pray for a fighter at ACH named Chase. You can find him at www.prayforchase.com.
Have a great week!
