After our rough night Tuesday, I thought surely we wouldn't be released Wednesday. But, after another really rough start Wed morning and some really dedicated prayer warriors it got better! It started with beautiful music coming from the hall. 2 volunteer gentlemen were set up at the end of the hall (and we were the last room) playing hymns and Christmas carols on recorders. It was........well, we both just cried it was so beautiful. It was if God just reached down and said, "my children, I love you and this is for you."
As anyone who has had a major surgery knows, the bladder becomes lazy. He definitely still needs "more flow" as he does NOT want to have a catheter again. Right now that is the biggest issue we are facing. His pain is being controlled with Motrin. Although the ride home (which took 30 min due to the roads) was extremely painful.......sure wish Rogers would dedicate funds for snow removal, sand, pebbles, salt, SOMETHING!
In any case, we are happy to be home.
Now to put up the Christmas tree!
Thank you all for your continued prayers.
Jan
