We saw Dr Treptow the surgeon today. He took out the staples and was ready to jet until we got him to stop long enough to explain what's going on
After describing the "lazy' bladder situation and the swelling in his feet / ankle. He scheduled a CT scan about 1. He had 450-500 cc in there and that was after going to the bathroom. The Tech had instructions to call Dr Treptow with the results. He said there definitely needs to be a catheter inserted asap. So the sent us to the E.R. where we thought we were going to have to wait 3 plus hours. The head nurse came over and said "we don't need to admit you to the e.r., we already have the dr's order. Let's just get you in a room and get the catheter in rather than charging you a 800 dollar e. r. fee. I told him, "I can't thank you enough." He said no problem! So, Doug has is 3rd catheter in 8 days. We will seek how it goes.
My eyes are crossing, I will sine off or now.
